Kacie's 3rd Week

We went back to the doctor this week, and Kacie has passed her birth weight. She weighed 8lbs, 8oz. We have to go back one more time next week for one more weight check. We are having to wake her up more frequently to feed her, and also supplement with formula an ounce or two when she still seems hungry. I don't like the idea of giving her formula, but it's what we have to do for now. Here are more pictures of Miss Kacie!

More Sleeping Pictures

This is Jason's and my favorite way to end the day. Kacie likes laying like this after eating, and we definitely love the cuddle time!

We took Kacie out to eat for the first time on Friday to celebrate Jason's birthday. She behaved very well.  We put her carseat on the table and she slept most of the time. Then when she woke up, she just looked around with no fussing. It was our first time to try to take her somewhere besides the doctor's office, and it was a success!

Two Weeks Old!

We had another busy week with more visitors and more dress up! Kacie is really active and is always moving her arms and legs. It's hard to get a good picture sometimes!

We had Kacie's 2 week doctor appointment on Thursday. The good news is she's healthy. The bad news is, she doesn't weigh enough. She was only 8lbs, 5oz, which is not back up to birth weight. We have to go back again next week for a weight check. Part of the problem is our little sleepy girl always falls asleep while eating, so we think she's not getting enough. We have to try to fatten her up in the next few days!!

First Week

We've had a busy first week with lots of visitors! So far our little angel sleeps all the time! I think I'm having a little too much fun picking outfits and bows every day. :) Here are only a few of the bazillion pictures we've taken this week!
