October Continued...

This month is flying by. Here are a few more pictures from the last few weeks.
Kacie having fun looking at Earl
Hanging out with Daddy in the café at church
Passed out later that night
Super Cute Rangers outfit I ordered a while ago. Too bad it didn't bring them any luck...
Some pictures taken by Grandma Bonnie at her house
Finally, we had 6 month pictures done last week. Here is one Jason took with his phone before the photographer told us we couldn't take pictures. (I was not in the official pictures, just sitting by her.)
That about sums it up! Almost time for November!

October Fun!

I've had a hard time keeping up on here lately! Here are several weeks of pictures combined into one post.
Here is Kacie eating....I mean reading her book!
Getting ready to go visit Auntie Danielle, Uncle Stephen, and Jake
Jake's CHEESE face and a sleepy Kacie
Lots of play time
She had this random piece of hair that looked like a tail. I finally cut it off, so I guess that was her first haircut....kind of....
Silly Faces
A picture we sent to Jason when he was at a Ranger game one night
Looking at Earl
Cutie pie!
Please let me put that camera in my mouth!!!
This one made me literally laugh out loud. Kacie has been able to drink from a straw for a few weeks. One night I had her sitting up on the counter with me while I was working in the kitchen. I looked away for probably 5 seconds at the most, and when I turned back around, this is what I saw.
She had somehow reached over, grabbed my cup (of water), put the straw in her mouth and started drinking. I was laughing so hard and of course had to grab the camera.
Here are a few shots at Grandma Bonnie & Grandpa Paul's house.
Whew! That's all for now!

Visit to the Aboretum

I did not have school today, so Kacie and I went to the Dallas Arboretum with my mom. I had only been there 2 times,  and the last time was 4 years ago. I was excited to take pictures of Kacie and all the beautiful flowers. I was also looking forward to getting the obligatory "pumpkin patch" pictures that everyone always takes. (I was also dying for her to wear this adorable outfit from my friend Stefanie!)

This was our first attempt at a picture by the pumpkins. There was so much to look at, we had a hard time getting Kacie to look at the camera. After a few shots, she started to cry. I thought maybe she didn't like sitting on the ground.
Another pumpkin shot...didn't like the hay either, so I had to sit with her

A house made of pumpkins
Tired after looking at all those pumpkins
When she woke up, her head was sweaty from being in the stroller, so we found a shady place on the grass to stop and play for a while. There was a nice breeze, so everyone got to cool off. We practiced sitting, and she sat up by herself longer than she ever had before!
Attempts at a mother/daughter shot
On our way out, I wanted to try go get a smiling pumpkin shot. There were pumpkins lining the sidewalks, so I thought maybe she would like it better sitting on a blanket on the sidewalk, instead of the hay and bark from the pumpkin patch. Nope. She immediately started crying when I sat her down, so I went to sit with her again.
We had a really great day! My parents have a membership at the Arboretum, so we hope to take many more trips as it gets cooler.

Randomness

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.
Sweet girl at church
Playtime with Addison & Lux
Jason was getting Kacie's things ready one morning and Kacie was playing on her mat. When he came back in the living room, she had somehow pulled/knocked it over. I love her little grin that says, "Look what I did!"

Eating....I mean reading her book
