Arkansas-Cousin fun!-Day 1

Hot Springs is right in the middle of Dallas and Memphis, TN, where my brother lives. We got together at Thanksgiving, and this would be just the 3rd time Ben & Kacie had been together. Ben is 5 weeks older than Kacie. I couldn't wait to see the two of them play together since now they both walk and "talk."  Here are pics from the first day (Sunday). Brent, Cassandra, and Ben were staying with Cassandra's parents in Little Rock, about an hour away. Each morning, they came over early and stayed the whole day with us.

Unfortunately, Jason had to drive home Sunday night to go to work on Monday. Kacie & I stayed until Wednesday and came home with my parents.

It was a fun first day!

Arkansas-Road Trip

We went to our lake house in Hot Springs, Arkansas this past week with my parents and my brother & his family. We weren't able to leave until Saturday morning, because of Jason's work. I didn't know how Kacie would do in the car, but of course there was nothing to worry about. Here are some pics from the road trip. Without stopping the trip is about 3 1/2-4 hours, so it took us a little longer with a few stops.

When we finally arrived, Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Paul were there to greet us! And Grandpa had a yummy watermelon!
