Play Time!!

I mentioned my friend's blog a few posts ago. (Dirt and Boogers) I have gotten a lot of fun ideas from her to do with Kacie this summer. Many things are so simple, but I never would have thought of them. Here is a brief summary of the activities we've been doing together this summer. Some are from Amanda's blog, some are not, but instead of making a post for each one, I just decided to make one long one.

"Painting" with Water

Well, mix in trips to the library, playground, Target, the pool, and play dates and that's how we've been spending our summer so far.

Fourth of July!

We had our annual 4th of July party at Leanne's parents' house. It was so much more fun having a 15 month old than a 3 month old at the party! First off, of course we had to try to get a picture of her cute dress.

We wanted to take the kids' pictures in their cute 4th of July clothes, but the big boys couldn't wait to go swimming, so we did the pictures later.  Well, as you can imagine, it is NOT easy to get three 3 year old boys, and three 1 year old babies to sit still, look at the camera, and smile all at the same time. Here are some of the humorous attempts at this picture.

It was a great day, and we can't wait until next year!

When Mommy's Gone...

I had a Girls' Weekend with my Growth Group from church, and while somehow we did not take one single picture of us girls, Jason took some cute ones of his time with Kacie.

It was fun to get away with the girls, but I definitely missed my baby!
