- She is sitting up completely on her own.
- She has 2 teeth poking through!
- She still sleeps about 8:30 pm-6:30 am most nights, and takes 2-3 naps per day.
- We have introduced more solids. So far, she's had rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, green beans, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash.
- She has 1 bottle of formula and 2 bottles of breast milk during the day, and then we nurse at night.
- She is starting to wave bye-bye. When we say it, she lifts her hand up and kind of flops her wrist back and forth. Sometimes she says "bah."
- Another cute thing she does is get really excited when we say, "Kacie, do you want to eat?" We noticed it one night, and now we love seeing her smile and giggle in anticipation.
- She is moving EVERYWHERE. She is not officially crawling technically, but she can roll and scoot just about anywhere and reach anything she wants. She especially loves to grab phones and remotes. Here she is moving across the floor to get the remote.
- The weather is starting to get cooler, and most of her pants are too long for my little shorty!
- She can drink water from a straw.
- She loves to touch cold things, mostly our cups or soda cans.
- She loves to play peek-a-boo, but when we put something over her face/head, she doesn't take it off. She just sits there until one of us moves it, and she has the biggest toothy grin.
Here are her 7 month photos
And there she goes....
She grabbed the sign and starting swinging it back and forth
I love her expression in this one
We "celebrated" her 7 month birthday with a trip to Target, where she sat in the cart like a big girl for the first time!
Her "signature" face (my phone camera has a delay, and it is so annoying!)
Cuddling with mom and playing with all her toys
Jason had to take her for her 2nd dose of the flu shot, so we got to know her weight. She is now 18 pounds, 8 ounces. We love our baby so much! It's so crazy to think that now she is closer to 1 than to being born. Can't wait to see what she will do to entertain and amaze us this month.
