Well...today's the day my baby turned O-N-E!!! The day started out as any usual Saturday. I went to the grocery store while Kacie took a nap. Then the fun began. Grandma Sharon got to the house right as Kacie woke up. (It took her a while to get used to both grandparents, but by the end of their visits, she was hugging and kissing them too!) We were planning to go out to eat after we took her 12 month pictures, which I'll post later, so we got her all dressed up in her cute birthday shirt. Well, she wanted NO part of taking pictures. She would NOT sit still, would NOT smile, would NOT keep her bow on...etc. We usually have several funny outtakes, but we still get a few good ones. We do not have one picture of her smiling. Finally, we let her get off the chair and she crawled into the other room....
...straight to the piano.
Then she noticed Grandpa Derry's present over in the corner, and she was in LOVE!
Hey mom, look what I can do!
We brought the chair into the living room and were able to get SEVERAL good pictures! Yea!
Then she sat on the floor in front of it, and we got more good ones!!
Finally, we were ready to go to Cheddars with all 4 grandparents!!
